Testing for this ketone in the urine with THINZ MetaboSTIX can confirm that your body is metabolizing fat. Regardless of the weight loss program you choose, whether it's a low carbohydrate diet or any other sensible reduced calorie and exercise plan, THINZ MetaboSTIX Test Strips can help monitor your fat metabolism success. Directions 1. Remove one (1) test strip from the special humidity resistant container and immediately re-close container. Do not touch test pad area of strip. 2. Dip the test pad area of the strip into a fresh urine sample or pass it through urine stream for 1 or 2 seconds only. Tap excess urine off the test pad. 3. Wait 1 to 2 minutes after exposure to urine, then immediately compare the test pad color to the color chart on the container label. If test pad color falls within, or is darker than 'ketone detected' range, ketone is present indicating that fat is being metabolized. Remember, read results within 2 minutes after exposure to urine, as results after 3 minutes may not be reliable. Test once daily, before breakfast, starting 2 to 4 days after beginning a sensible reduced calorie diet and exercise program. Continue monitoring until desired goals are obtained and thereafter as desired. NOTE: It is not uncommon for test pad results to show only a slight color change, depending on your degree of calorie reduction and increased exercise.
