Lens Cup and Disc Uses Used for storage of contact lenses during chemical disinfection. Directions Always wash your hands thoroughly before handling lenses. Clean and rinse the surface of each lens as instructed by the AOSEPT System package insert. Place each lens on the dome in the correct side of the lens holder. To prevent damage to your lens center the lens on the dome in the lens holder. Be sure the lens does not touch the basket rim; then close the basket lid. Fill the cup with AOSEPT Disinfectant to the fill line. Place the lens holder into the cup and tighten the cap. DO NOT SHAKE. Allow the lenses to soak for a minimum of 6 hours or overnight. Rinse your lenses thoroughly with fresh CIBA Vision Saline or Softwear Saline before putting them on. Discard the neutralized solution from the lens case, rinse the cup with fresh saline, and leave the cup open to allow it to air dry. Warnings To minimize the chance of microbial contamination of your lens cup, remember to replace the AOSEPT Disposable Cup & Disc after 100 uses or 3 months of daily use. Lens cases can be a significant source of microbial contamination. To help prevent eye infections lens cases should be cleaned and air dried following each use. The AOSEPT Disposable Cup & Disc should be replaced as recommended. Use of this lens case with heat may cause warpage. Use for storage during chemical disinfection only. Do not use with heat
